Ronald Shusett is a living legend of filmmaking. As the producer of some of the most important, genre defining motion pictures of our time, Mr. Shusett has created over $1 Billion dollars in worldwide box office in his 25 plus years as a Hollywood player.

Ronald Shusett burst on the Hollywood scene in 1979, with Alien, which he co-wrote and executive produced. To many, Alien is considered one of the most important films of the past quarter century, raising the bar on the horror Sci-Fi genre. In 1990, Shusett produced and co-wrote Total Recall, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sharon Stone. Total Recall, commonly considered a groundbreaking film, went on to gross over $300 million in worldwide box office. More recently, Mr. Shusett godfathered and executive produced the critically acclaimed Minority Report, which starred Tom Cruise and Colin Farrell, and was directed by Steven Spielberg. Minority Report grossed over $132 million in domestic box office. Mr. Shusett has also written and produced other films including Freejack, starring Emilio Estevez, and Above the Law, starring Steven Segal.

Shusett, who has a reputation for seeking out new talent, virtually launched the careers of Ridley Scott and Sigourney Weaver in Alien, and Steven Segal in Above the Law.

Ron Shusett, who is in constant demand as a screenwriter and producer, has worked with some of the major box office talent of our time, including such directors as: Paul Verhoeven (Total Recall – 1990), Andrew Davis (Above the Law – 1988), Ridley Scott (Alien – 1979), David Fincher (Aliens3 – 1993) and recently, Steven Spielberg (Minority Report – 2002).
